All three outlets are the same size. Used where a full-bore branch connection of the same pipe size is required. The most common tee type — used in headers, distribution systems, and general piping.
The branch outlet is smaller than the run outlets. Specified when a smaller branch connection is needed from a main header — eliminates the need for a full tee plus a reducer. Available in all standard reducing combinations.
