Buttweld elbows are the most ordered fitting type. Available in all four standard types, all grades, all schedules. Every elbow is manufactured to ASME B16.9 dimensional requirements.
The standard elbow for most piping applications. Centre-to-face dimension = 1.5 × nominal pipe diameter. Lower pressure drop than short radius. Used whenever space allows — oil & gas, chemical, power plant piping.
Centre-to-face = 1.0 × nominal pipe diameter. Used where space is limited and higher pressure drop is acceptable. Common in tight equipment arrangements, pump suction/discharge, and compact process skids.
Used when a 45° change in direction is required. Lower pressure drop than 90° elbows. Common in headers, offset piping, and drainage systems. Available in all grades and sizes.
Used to reverse flow direction in U-tube configurations. Available in long radius (3D) and short radius (2D) configurations. Common in heat exchangers, fired heaters, and coil systems.
